MCDONALD George
Posted: August 1st, 2014The family of GEORGE WILLIAM MCDONALD is sad to announce that he passed away in the afternoon of July 30, 2014 at the age of 70 from cancer. George will be greatly missed by Susan, his beloved wife of 44 years and their children Laura-Lynne (Robert) Boehme, David (Heather) McDonald, Chantelle (Rick) Davidson, and Natasha McDonald. He was predeceased by their son, Mark Edmunds McDonald. He dearly loved his family and had a special place in his heart for each grandchild: Christopher, Cleighton, Benjamin, Kaisha, Bekah, Joseph, Joshua and Kaleb Boehme; Steel, Cole, Jade, Maggie, and Ruby McDonald; and Ashlyn, Alexa, Richelle, and Jenna Davidson. He is also survived by his brother, Roger, of Idaho. George was a positive and caring man who was a friend to everyone and helped make the world a better place to live for those around him. He had the unique skill of turning problems around with his sense of humor and brightening our days. We will not have a funeral, at his request. Instead, we will be having a private family graveside service in Cardston. In lieu of flowers, we believe that he would prefer you perform a random act of kindness toward someone who is living.
Mr. Mcdonald was my teacher wayyy back in the good old days at LCI. He was a fantastic teacher who was true to his word. He will be missed. My condolences to you.

I was just thinking about Mr. McDonald today.
I had him for French at LCI and he was one of my favourite teachers. He has a wonderful sense of humour and a tremendous amount of patience.
I am sorry for your loss.
