SCOUT Kevin

Posted: March 4th, 2015

Kevin Stanley Scout (Crow Chief) — Matsowaohkitopii (Rides with Honor) rode off into the sunset on February 23, 2015 at his homestead, Bar S2 Ranch and Co at the age of 42 years. "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4). Left to mourn are his daughters, Tila (Conrad) and Megan, son, Casey Lane, grandchildren, Ryder Lane, Raymond Bentley and Aniiah’ Love, devoted parents, Mr. Stanley and Joanne Scout, sisters and best friends; Carrie, Sheryl and Dee (Dustin), nephews, Shaw, Liam, Juni, and nieces Starly James and Gemma Jo. Kevin was a special "Little brother" to Deliah and Larry Provost and Kathy and Wade Scout Bastien. Kevin was born a Cowboy. Throughout his life Kevin became an expert horseman, sportsman, hunter, fisherman, carpenter, roofer, welder and cattleman. He took his duties as son, brother, dad, grandpa, friend and partner to heart and did the best he could to help all those he loved. Being a Cowboy was what he loved and lived for most of all. This is where our Cowboy "Kev" aka "Hoss" rides away. A Candle Light Vigil will be held at the BAR S2 RANCH (STAN SCOUT RESIDENCE) Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. A Family Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, Alberta on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 5:00 PM. Following the Family Service, a Wake Service will be held at SENATOR GLADSTONE HALL, Standoff, AB beginning at 7:00 PM and continuing through the night. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at ST. MARY’S IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, Standoff, AB on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Father Pawel Andrasz O.M.I., Celebrant. Interment to follow at ST.
