MOLCAK Lukas

With great sadness we announce the passing of LUKAS MATTHEW MOLCAK. He passed on June 21st, 2015 as a result of injuries sustained from an ATV accident while doing what he loved, camping with his family. Luke leaves behind the love of his life Carissa and their 3 children: Macy (8), Kayla (6) and Jaxon (2). It would have been impossible to find a better father and husband and he will be deeply missed by all. Luke is lovingly remembered by his parents Jack and Judi Molcak, as well as his siblings Christie (Jason) Graves, Josh (Kathryn) Molcak, Jeb (Rachel) Molcak along with countless cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He also leaves to mourn his grandma, Guila Hausauer who was pre-deceased by her husband Cecil John Hausauer with whom he had a very special bond. Luke will be deeply missed by his in-laws Chuck and Irene Ormston and the entire Ormston family. Luke was born November 29th, 1981 in Lethbridge, the third child of four. He was a faithful member of the LDS church, and served in many callings, including a two-year mission in Salt Lake City, Utah. Luke’s competitive nature served him well playing collegiate soccer. He graduated with an accounting degree, and went on to become a CGA. We will miss his jokes, his sarcastic sense of humor, and the laughter he brought to a room. Most of all his wife and children will miss the influence of such an amazing Dad in their lives. Luke would always make time to be with his kids; coaching soccer, geocaching, snowball fighting, taking trips, skiing, going to movies, telling stories, and giving lots of snuggles. When he wasn’t spending time with his wife and kids, he was working hard as an accountant, and playing soccer, ultimate frisbee, hockey, and golf. He was especially good at losing at fantasy football (or so his brothers say). Luke was the life of the party, the wise guy on the team, and the pillar of strength in his family. His absence will be felt by all. Friends may meet the family in Lethbridge from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 25th at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13th St. N, or Friday, June 26th from 1:00 to 1:45 pm at the LETHBRIDGE LDS STAKE CENTRE, 2410-28 St. S. The Funeral Service begins at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at the Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge.
Deepest sympathies to all. Love and prayers.

Carissa. There are no real words to comfort you and I am just going to tell you that there are a lot of people that love and support you and your girls. I know we can’t bring Luke back but we can get you through the hard times. I also know without a doubt Luke is very much still around guiding you and supporting you as you raise your children. We love you and we will continue to pray for you.
