Allan Nielsen of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the age of 79 years.Allan was born in Calgary, AB on July 13, 1939. Allan met the love of his life Pauline Bovey when they were teenagers. They married in 1961 and remained devoted to each other until Pauline’s passing in 2006. Allan was a quiet, honest, hardworking man. He spent many years working for the City Transit departments in Calgary, Vancouver and Lethbridge.Allan will always be remembered for the love and devotion he gave to his wife and family. The love he shared with the numerous family pets and his wonderful sense of humour will never be forgotten.Allan is survived by his daughters, Alana (Stewart) Drummond and Jo-Anne Nielsen (Joseph Stannard); his son Rodney (Heather) Nielsen; three granddaughters, Jessica, Shannon, and Nikki; four grandsons, Michael, Brantly, Tyler, and Austin; and one great- granddaughter Shana.ALLAN WAS PREDECEASED BY HIS WIFE PAULINE (2006) AND HIS SON BRADLEY (2017).Memories and condolences may be shared with Allan’s family through
