SLEETH, Louise
Posted: July 12th, 2019SLEETH
With our deepest sadness we announce, on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at around 11:30 P.M. we lost LOUISE JEANETTE SLEETH, wife of Robert “Bob” Sleeth for almost 62 years. Louise was made up of nothing but love. She was a Ma to her children, Nanny to her grandchildren and Grandma to anyone who came through her door.
Louise filled the hearts of those she loved and laughed with and always had a “you know I love you” ready to make you feel better. Louise dedicated 36 years to helping others as a nurse, many times “stretching the rules” to make someone feel comfortable and loved.
Louise is survived by her husband Bob Sleeth, daughters Patricia & Rick Richardson and Pamela & Steve Morgan, grandchildren Nicole Ray, Kimberly and Mitch Sorsdahl, Ryan and Melanie Mueller, Taija Morgan and Taylor Morgan, and great-grandchildren, Maddie Fazzio and Regan Fazzio, Evan Mueller and Aiden Mueller, Emma Sorsdahl and Greyson Sorsdahl. Louise is also survived by her brothers Dale Freeborn and Ron Scott.
Louise was predeceased by her parents, Elva & James Freeborn and her children Randy, Bobby and Susan Sleeth and her grandson, Dustin Robinson.
Our family would like to thank all the caregivers at Columbia Age Care and Chinook Regional Hospital for their compassion and help through this trying time.
In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully appreciated to the Alzheimer Society of Calgary at www.alzheimercalgary.ca.
Please understand that Louise wanted a very private ceremony for her immediate family — there will be no formal funeral service.
Louise always said “This is not goodbye but see you.”
