Arthur “Art” Stratulat
1931 – 2020
Mr. Arthur “Art” Stratulat of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Joyce Stratulat (2013), passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital, on Saturday May 9, 2020, at the age of 88 years.
Dad was born in Avonlea, Saskatchewan on June 16, 1931, the third child of John and Sophie (predeceased) Stratulat. He was a cowboy through and through.
Art will be dearly missed by his daughters, Donna (Kent), Cheryl (David) and Brenda (Bernard); grandchildren, Carey (Scott), Amanda (Kris), Paul (Brittany), Jennifer, Krystal (Mike), Kayla (Darren) and Wade (Donita); great grandchildren: Jordan, Asha, Lyndsey, Kaleb, Braelyn, Ethan, Mercedes, Sergio, Hugo, Ariana, Mikeala and Dominic; siblings: Phyllis (Fred deceased), Steve (Pearl) and Philip (Jean) as well as many nieces, nephews, family members and friends across the country.
Besides his loving wife Joyce, Art was predeceased by his son Lynn (1999), and his sister and brother in law Elaine (Mel).
We would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Jameison, Dr. Roth and their Palliative Care team as well as the nursing staff on 5A at the Chinook Regional Hospital for their compassion and care during dad’s stay.
Due to the recent restrictions surrounding Covid – 19, A Celebration of Art’s Life will be held a later date.
