May 13, 1935 – February 27, 2021
GRANT NELSON, of Cardston passed away at Lee Crest Feb. 27, 2021 at the age of 85. He will be missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Joyce; children LeAnne (David) Crane, of Calgary, Shane (Elizabeth) Nelson, of Calgary, Serena Jones, of Flower Mound, TX; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and his sister, Marie Hill, of Medicine Hat. He was predeceased by his son-in-law Douglas Jones, his parents Ward & Violet Nelson, his sister, Luella Powelson, brothers, Melvin Nelson and Glenn Nelson, and step family, Viola Nelson, Duane Campbell, Mona Orlando, Arlene Rombough, and Lois Phillips.
A Viewing will be held for family and friends on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston. A Private Family Service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the Aetna Cemetery.
