She looked forward to visitors and her door was always open, offering a drink and some of her delicious baking to whoever stopped by. She was a long-time member of the Catholic Women’s League and the Weaver’s guild and loved to gift her warm blankets to family and friends.

Lucy is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Pat (Ken) Anderson of Pincher Creek, Ann Duncombe (Ray Yezovich) of Lethbridge, and Joan (Jim) Peterson of Colorado Springs; her son-in-law, John Morgan of Foremost; and her brother, Francis “Punch” Bitango; as well as her grandchildren, Shawn (Coralee) Anderson, Clint (Elizabeth) Anderson, James (Andrea) Anderson, Paula (Dean) Palmarchuk, Chris Duncombe (Tara Semeschuk), Ryan Morgan (Mandy Pack), Ashley Morgan (Ryan Miller), Joe (Kat) Peterson, and David Peterson; and her great grandchildren: Levi, Lewis, Colton, Malina, Hallie, Cole, Mackenzie, Kahlan, Reed, Dalin, Bella, Tove, and Ryland. 1. Mavis Palmer says:

Lots of great memories made at her house! Still can’t believe they let Pat and I skip school for a week to go to the Calgary International Horse show! Special people. Hugs to all!

  2. Ingrid Hess says:

Lucy Pavan was a warm-hearted woman with a lovely brightness and beautiful smile. We were little kids when our family moved into the Sunnyside community and Lucy’s family were most welcoming to us. I remember riding horses together, exploring her wonderful garden and sitting around her big table with lots of booming voices and laughter.
