Beloved wife of the late Frank Plato, passed away at St. Therese Villa on Jan. 6th at the age of 93.
Pauline is survived by 4 children: Roland Plato – Med.Hat; Janet Spoulos – Lethbridge; Meladean Plato (Brian Macuira) – Calgary; Silvia (Wayne) D’Andrea – Calgary. Also 4 grandchildren: Shawn (Carrie) Sakamoto – Lethbridge County; Sasha (Scott) Mahan – Calgary; Marc and Adam D’Andrea – Calgary; as well as 5 great grandsons.
Pauline was so very much loved and will be greatly missed.
I remember fondly the many times I visited with Pauline in my role as Pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was always grateful to hear news of her fellow church members and received encouraging words from scripture with joy. I enjoyed discussing theology with her as she was well versed in scripture. Many of my visits in later years also involved the offer of the sacrament of Holy Communion which she received with reverence and with joy. We always prayed together for you, her family, whom she spoke of with pride. It is a blessing to know she is now with the Lord.
We were sorry to learn of Pauline’s death. We have good memories of when she and Frank lived across the street from us in Nobleford. Our sympathies to you during this time.
