Ben was quite a character. He loved to socialize, had a playful sense of humour, loved music and dancing. He loved to play the accordion for his friends and family when he had the chance. On special occasions, he would make his cabbage rolls for the family which we all looked forward to. Ben enjoyed the time he spent with his friends. He loved his grandchildren, having many laughs along the way. Ben mostly loved to be with his family at any gathering of the “clan”.
A celebration of his life will be held in the Fairmont Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.
Those interested may attend the funeral virtually via Zoom using this link which will be opened just prior to the service: http://bit.ly/3qqDeoz.
The family would like to thank the staff at Edith Cavell Nursing Home for the care and kindness shown to our father.
In honour of Ben, please consider visiting a family member, having a coffee with a friend, and perhaps sharing a story or two.
We are thinking of your family at this sad time. It is difficult to lose a family member at any time however to lose two within a few days is devastating. Best wishes.
