Dexter Johnson of Lethbridge, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the age of 15 years.
Dexter is survived by his father Dan Johnson; mother Julie Mori; twin brother Scott Johnson; brothers Sam and Eric Johnson; and sisters Meg and Lucy Martin-Johnson.
Dexter was a student at Winston Churchill High School, a talented musician, science enthusiast, intelligent, kind, and a friend to all. Dexter will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
On his final day he stayed after school to work on extracurricular projects, came home and played jazz on his saxophone, went to bed, and passed away during the night. Dexter trusted people, and always tried to do what is right.
Those who remember Dexter and would like to meet his family or attend the viewing, can do so from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta. Due to the fact that in person attendance at the visitation is limited, those who wish to attend may do so by selecting the ‘Click here to RSVP” link on Dexter’s obituary to schedule an appointment. Please do not arrive earlier than scheduled. 50 individuals will be allowed in every 15 minutes so please be mindful of the 15 minute window assigned to you.
