OLSON, Wayne Bruce
Bruce Wayne Olson passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Ab, on March 28, 2022 at the age of 66.
Bruce is survived by his siblings; Herald (Jean) Olson of Spruce Grove, Hilda Ganger of Lethbridge, Georgina Steffler of Stony Plain, Esther (Ron) Wenckowski of Stony Plain, Susan Riehl of Lethbridge, Chris Olson of Lethbridge, Bonnie (Octave) DeSmit of Stony Plain, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents; Albert and Nancy Olson, plus his brothers; John, Rex and David.
Bruce was born on September 30, 1955, in Cardston, Ab. He was the youngest son of 11 children. In his early years the Olson family moved to Lethbridge, where Bruce called home for the remainder of his life. He was a hard-working man. Bruce loved a good joke and loved to tease his nieces and nephews.
He spent his final years residing at Age Care Columbia, which was a very meaningful and happy place for him. Family will be forever grateful to all staff for his exceptional care.
A private family gathering will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022. Details to follow.
