It is with profound sadness and tremendous heartbreak that we announce his sudden passing. Adrian Mark Cox, age 53 of Fort McMurray, AB, passed away on November 8, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Brian and Agnes (Wendy) Cox; and dogs, Zeus and Apollo. He is survived by his ex-wife and friend, Sand and their two beautiful daughters, Ashley and Taylor; his sister, Clare (Tom) and nieces, Courtney and Brooklyn; and numerous family and friends.
Ade was born in Barnsley, England. Shortly after his family moved to Grand Cache, AB. They then moved to Lethbridge, AB, where he attended Winston Churchill High School. In 1990, Ade and Sand were married. He began an apprenticeship at The Lethbridge Herald and worked as a journeyman pressman. In 1995, they moved to Corpus Christi, Texas and started a family together. He continued his love for the newspaper world working as a pressman at The Caller Times. He later moved back to Fort McMurray, AB, where he resided until his untimely passing. He was the biggest Pittsburgh Steelers fan, which has been also been ingrained in his daughter, Taylor.
A memorial service will be held to honor Ade’s life on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Westminster Hall 411 16 St North, Lethbridge, AB.
