Tina met her husband, Henry Wiebe, in the Pincher Creek area and the Coaldale Bible School. They were married in 1941 and spent a few years in B.C. as Henry completed his wartime commitments. Two children were born at that time, and after they moved to Gem, Alta., three more were added to the family. Henry owned and operated Henry’s Service, a sales and repair shop. After that they farmed for a time then moved to Brooks where they both worked part time. They always enjoyed being part of the local church, the Gideon ministry and their strong faith in God gave peace, strength and hope. They did a number of trips across Canada and the USA, even Israel and Europe.

They enjoyed many happy times camping with a trailer or van with friends and family. They often went fishing on Lake Newell or Vauxhall area with Tina’s father. Tina enjoyed her garden, sewing, knitting and crochet. The last move to a Lethbridge condo saw retirement and walks in the coulees. Henry passed away in 1996, Tina missed him dearly. She would watch her Blue Jays baseball and curling, even travel to bonspiels with her siblings. She especially loved to host or visit her children and grandchildren. She celebrated her 100th birthday November 2021. She will be remembered as a woman of quiet and patient strength.
