LAMANÉ

HUGUETTE JEANNE LAMANÉ passed away peacefully at Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at the age of 92 years.

She is survived by her children Fran (Bruce) Monkman, John Lamané, Lynn (Betty) Lamané, Sylvia (Gary) Frecka, Ron (Judy) Lamané, Mark (Jackie) Lamané, Louis (Carol) Lamané, Jackie (Joe – deceased) Szalavary, Margaret (Chris) Cordes, Patrick (Anna) Lamané and numerous other family members.

She is predeceased by her husband Yves Oscar Lamané and grandson Grant Lamané.

Huguette was born on January 11, 1930 in Guarcif, Morocco. She married her husband Yves in France on April 26, 1951. Together they immigrated to Canada in 1952 and settled around the Lethbridge area where they raised their loving family.

Huguette worked for many years at Sifton House until her retirement. She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be so missed.

A Celebration of Huguette’s Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 32 St. S, Lethbridge on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. with Deacon Santiago Torres officiating.

Memorial tributes may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
