STAN LEWICKI 1942 – 2022 Stanley John Lewicki of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Dianne Lewicki, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on December 19, 2022 at the age of 80 years.
Stan was Born July 11, 1942 in Lethbridge to E. Stanley Lewicki and Anna (nee: Krasiy) Lewicki. He graduated from St. Francis Boys’ High School in Lethbridge in 1960. Where he met many of his life-long friends. In 1962, Stan met his life-long love Dianne who he married in 1964 and they were blessed with 58 years together. He completed Apprenticeship training in 3 trades to become a Journeyman Welder, Machinist and Millwright. Stan obtained these tickets with the help of Dianne who held down the fort raising their 3 young children while he studied at SAIT in Calgary.
After working in the Trades for 15 years, Stan began a new career as a Trades Consultant, and later a Manager, with the Alberta government’s Apprenticeship branch in Lethbridge where he worked for 27 years until his retirement in 2006.
Stan enjoyed many hobbies and interests, including photography, astronomy, woodworking, metal turning, motorcycles, cycling, inventing new tools and more!
Stan also loved to travel so long as his feet and wheels remained firmly on the ground. Over the years, he and Dianne enjoyed many motorcycle and camping trips with their family and close friends. Stan was also an avid storyteller and could be counted on to deliver the best story or joke for any situation.
Besides his loving wife, Stan is survived by his son Greg (Ethel) Lewicki, daughters Michele (Victor) del Valle and Susanne (Terrence) Lazarus; grandchildren Nicole, Deanna, Sarah and Devin; and sister Annie Moser.
Stan was predeceased by his father E. Stanley Lewicki, mother Anna (nee Krasiy) Lewicki, brothers Daniel and Henry Lewicki, sister Mary Klopp, his mother and father in law and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law who were very dear to him.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at ST. BASIL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 13 St N, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Father Derek Remus celebrant.

The family would like to thank Stan’s general physician Dr. Walsh, Lethbridge Paramedics, Dr. Ritchie, Dr. Wynder, Dr. Akinsipe as well as the amazing nurses and support staff on Unit 4C, including but not limited to Jessy, Kate, Jackie, Susan and Tiffany.
