NALDER Alan Dale Wilcock Nalder, beloved husband of the late Reina Nalder, passed away in Raymond, AB on February 7, 2023 at the age of 92 years.
Alan lived life to its fullest. He was an avid baseball and basketball player, and after his playing days were over, you could find him in the stands, cheering on his children, grandchildren, or virtually any ball team that he could find, regardless of who was playing.
Alan put his family first, and loved to get together for reunions, birthdays, holidays, or any excuse to reconnect with family and friends.
He is survived by his children Randy (Susie) Nalder, Joey Lawhon, Linda (Scott) Schuchert, Sharon (Basil) Jones, Crystal (Lorne) Cervo, and Bill (Michelle) Nalder, stepchildren Marie (Eugene) Uganecz, and Susan Fraser, siblings Bill Nalder and Barbara (Dick) Lindberg, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Clifton and Eulala Nalder, wife Reina, daughter Beverly Hoffman, grand-daughter Emmy Hoffman, son-in-law Larry Lawhon, step-children Elisabeth Young, Bernie (Kathy) Giesbrecht, Patti Giesbrecht, and Jackie Giesbrecht, and siblings Marie (Tom) King and Sherwin (Barbara) Nalder.
Alan will be honoured in a Celebration of Life at 2 pm on Saturday February 11, 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Cobblestone Chapel, 27 Cobblestone Lane, Raymond, AB. Friends are welcome to meet the family from 1:00 to 1:45 prior to the service at the church.
