MITCHELL It is with great sadness that we announce that NAOMI MITCHELL was called into her Saviour’s presence on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the age of 89 years.
Naomi is survived by her loving husband, Douglas, her sons: Andrew, Ian, and Robert (Nancy), as well as her five grandchildren: Caitlin, Stuart, Kyle, Riley, and Megan. She is also survived by her brother Gary (Anna) Cornel, as well as many nieces and nephews on both the Cornel and Mitchell sides of the family.
Our hearts are heavy and our lives will never be the same without our beloved Naomi, yet we are filled with gratitude for a life well lived. We give thanks to God that He entrusted her to be an example of her faith in Jesus Christ to her family and all those that she encountered.
The family would like to thank the care teams at the Chinook Regional Hospital and St. Michael’s Health Centre – Palliative Care Unit for the excellent care and love that Naomi received.
Friends and family are invited to join us for a Memorial Service at ST. ANDREW’S PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 1818 – 5th Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Daniel Surya officiating.
