LEDSHAM
JANICE LEDSHAM (née Isaak) was born in Meadstead, SK on February 4, 1964 to Walter and Wilma Isaak. Her siblings, Sharon Holtorf and Lyndon Isaak, grew up on the farm and helped make it a success.
She accepted Christ as her Lord and Saviour at an early age and her faith steadied all of her 59 years.
She had a thriving career as a social worker/family therapist for 35 years. She encouraged and blessed with many with her heartfelt approach and applied experience.
Janice married Duncan Ledsham in 1988 and ventured from Saskatoon to Lethbridge for Duncan’s career prospects. Their son, Dustin, was the first to arrive and three years later Garnett was added to the line up.
She was deeply invested in her family, church, and social life. She could cook effortlessly for 20, fix a small appliance, shingle a roof, create a Sunday school lesson, and bath both boys without breaking a sweat.
She also enjoyed camping, hiking, kayaking and periodically enduring golf to indulge her husband’s golf addiction. When her grandson, Tate, arrived she added a new pre-occupation to an already busy life.

  2. Paul Stevenson says:

Janice was our neighbor for more than two decades. One of the most friendly, personable and generous people I have ever known. She was so often working on her house and yard even painting a chimney that I felt was rather hazardous. Also a terrific host for neighborhood get togethers.Shocked to see her gone much too early. The best to Duncan and the boys.

  3. Michele Montgomery says:

Such an immeasurable loss for this community. She will be remembered by so many for her kind heart, her wisdom and her strength. She leaves a legacy.
