ROY OLIVER GOSSEN
June 9, 1940 – April 29, 2023
It is with sadness that the family of Roy announces that he passed peacefully in his sleep at City Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. Roy lived in Lethbridge for the past 35 years with his sweetheart, Dorothy, who passed in 2016. Roy was Metis and grew up in Prince Albert, SK, with his 2 brothers and sister. He was the youngest of his siblings and followed in his brothers’ footsteps of becoming a furniture mover. He had a strong work ethic and excelled in his job, as organizing was his thing! He was a wonderful guitar player in his youth, and his daughter and 2 sons, and their mother, Carol, enjoyed music as a family growing up. In addition to his children, he will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, many relations, and special friends who were a blessing and like family to him. “Papa” Roy was one of a kind and will be missed! Forever In Our Hearts.
