BLACKWATER Cassidy Rae Blackwater born October 4, 1994 and made her journey on June 1, 2023.
She will be sadly missed by her children Hayden, Rylan Amelia and Myla and her parents Lorraine Blackwater and Peter Wolf Child.
Dear Mommy, Grandma told me to write to you so it will make us feel better. Mom I graduated grade 5, I wish you were there but Grandma said that you were with us but we can’t see you because you’re an angel. Mom, who is gonna bring us swimming, who is gonna jump on the trampoline with us and lay on the trampoline and look at the stars, who is gonna take us for walks and go up the hill and have a picnic? Mom, who is gonna rub our feet and scratch our backs and read to us when we go to bed? You always told us you loved us and kissed us but Grandma said she will be here for us, not to worry.
My Mommy went to school in Stand Off, F.P. Walshe and in Calgary where she played soccer and really liked it.
My Mommy loved all her family especially her sisters Sammy Joe, Arian (Kesler), Makaya, Ebony, Brihanna, Alah and Shaleea; her brothers Austin, Kynsleigh, Leland and Kenny; my Mommy’s uncle Eugene Blackwater, who is always giving us treats, especially freezies. Albert and Debbie Blackwater would come over to our house to pray and paint our faces. Douglas and Carolyn Many Grey Horses would stop by and check on us and give our grandma money to get us chocolate milk. Oh Mom, auntie Agnus Black Water gave us a kitten, uncle Rex Day Chief gave us a hug and auntie Sherry Chief Body bought us chocolate milk. My Mommy loved all her nieces and nephews. My Mom’s grandparents are Peter & Jeannie Strikes With A Gun. My Mom was lucky she had two parents Miranda Blackwater and Kevin (Shannon) Plaited Hair.
Love you Mommy, we really miss you, I’m gonna help grandma with Rylan and Curly Sue (Amelia) and I’ll keep singing to them like how you always sang to us.
Give a hug and kiss to our uncles and aunties Tyler, Dradon, KJ, Gracie, Tabitha, Dylan, AJ and Haylee and continue to watch over us.
A Wake Service will be held at the Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 3:00 – 10:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Blood Reserve on Saturday June 17, 2023 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
