WALKER, Frederic (Ross)

Ross passed away on February 13, 2024 at 1:00 pm with the assistance of the MAID program after a long battle with
colon cancer which he was unable to sustain.
Ross was born January 2, 1953 at St. Vincent Hospital in Pincher Creek, Alberta to his parents Barbara and Hunter Walker.
Ross leaves behind the love of his life Ivy, his brother Robin Walker, Uncle Bryan (Bev) Walker. Aunt Patty (Bob) Baison.
He was predeceased by both his parents.
There will be no celebration of life as per his wishes.
Ross was my dear uncle, I didn’t get to see him for five years and never will again and it pains me that he left us. My father Robin otherwise known as Ross’s older brother is pained by his younger brother’s death, we hope he rests in peace.
Ross was such a pleasure to deal with in the auto industry for the past 13years. Such an easy guy to talk to and even in the past months; he’d still stop by and power through the obvious pains he was experiencing and chat while somehow still smiling. Class act all the way.
He will be fondly missed.
Ross was my cousin, a year older than me.
He was much loved by his ‘Auntie Kay and Uncle Stan’ who enjoyed his spontaneous visits over the years.
Ross offered my daughter a place in his home for 4 years while she attended the University of Lethbridge. He opened his home to her and I knew she was safe and secure while staying there.
I always admired Ross’s enthusiasm for the many things he did in his life. He had a sense of humour and enjoyed a good laugh with family and friends.
I will miss him and wish we had spent more time with each other over the years. I send sincere sympathy to Ivy and know Ross will rest in peace, reunited with his beloved mother.
