TOTH, Bradley

Posted: June 29th, 2024

Bradley James Toth Nov. 1, 1959 – June 3, 2024 On June 3, our brother Brad passed peacefully at his home in Florida at the age of 64 after a long and difficult battle with cancer. Brad left Lethbridge shortly after graduating high school to attend Art College in Fort Lauderdale and loved it so much that he chose it as his forever home. He forged a successful career there as an artist and interior designer, and was a friend and mentor to many. Our brother was a talented artist, a brilliant designer, an amazing chef… spontaneous, creative, generous, opinionated, often difficult, but always inspired. Brad loved to entertain, and was never happier than when he was in the kitchen cooking for a houseful of friends. He was thankfully able to spend his last days at home, with his beloved dogs, his art, and the many, many people who loved him.
Brad is survived by his big sister Chari, his big brother Dave, his stepmom Carole, his niece Reily and his furkids Finn, Gigi and Stella. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to his “Florida Family” – the loving and devoted friends, too numerous to mention, who were by his side through good times and bad. A special thank you to Steve, and to Anna and Merris who helped ensure his final days were full of good memories.
You were a truly bright spark and the world is a much less colourful place without you. Safe travels little brother… see you on the other side.

He helped me with my home work in grade 5 every night for a month so I wouldn’t fail 🥹 we were 2 years apart and were very close friends..he bought me my first plastic high heels grade 3 lol at park plaza drug store then took me to the Dairy Queen..did I mention with my stuffed bra thought I was a real adult lol..Brad gave me so many funny happy memories with all his ideas, we lost touch when he moved to Florida, I tried to connect a couple times but unfortunately wasn’t able..a bright light loving heart ..I will miss you Brad you will always have a special place in my heart..my deepest sympathies to the family..

Hello, I have just heard of this sad news.. I am Brad’s old friend from L.C.I… we shared many laughs, love for art and dreamed of how to live a happy life. He went to Florida and I am in Toronto. Last time we met, he cooked me a fabulous meal and had a great time exchanging experiences outside of Lethbridge… many many years ago but it feels like yesterday.
My sincere condolences to Brad’s family and his close friends. Have a great time in heaven Brad! We’ll catch up later ❤️🥲❤️
