1923 – 2024
Our precious mother, Alice Marian Haynes (née Mecham, formerly Jensen), beloved wife of the late William Grant Haynes, passed away in  Cardston on Friday, July 26, 2024 at the age of 101 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the church prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 between 12:30 P.M. and 1:40 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 – 50 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. A private burial will follow at the Barnwell Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded by visiting our website at www.southlandfuneral.com.

Alice is survived by her children Dallace (Gloria) Jensen, Harold (Judy) Jensen, Alma (Olga) Jensen, Robert (Shirley) Jensen, Valeen Jensen, Lynette (Bruce) Kramer, Garth (Barbara) Jensen, Janell (Bill) Kress, Loretta Chartrand, Rodney (Laura) Jensen and Danny (Marian)  Jensen and by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Lawrence Anderson, Walter Harris and by Grant’s children William (Heather) Haynes, Judith Dreyer, Sherrie Kwan, Lloyd (Penny) Haynes, Cindy (Norm) Miller, Brad (Jan) Haynes and Lori (Rob) Friesen.
 She was predeceased by her first husband Arley Jensen and her second husband Grant Haynes; parents Erastus Alma Mecham, Sina Williamina Johnson, Geneva Dorothea Horton and by two grandchildren, Ryan Jensen and Kressley Clarkson. She was also predeceased by her brothers Clarence Tufts, Arlen Harris and by a sister Audrey Anderson.
Alice’s life was filled with love and service to all who knew and needed her. She served faithfully with many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved and lived the Gospel of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
