His career started with the Bank of Commerce and he went on to build a successful career as a Chartered Accountant in Southern Alberta. He was known for his dedication to his work, his integrity, and his commitment to helping his clients and community.
Family was the cornerstone of Bob’s life. He took great pride in his sons’ achievements and cherished the time spent with his grandchildren. Bob’s home was always filled with laughter, love, and the smells of his favourite dishes, especially hot sauces.
Bob had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time in the mountains. His adventurous spirit and love for nature were contagious, inspiring many to join him on his outdoor excursions.
Bob’s legacy of love, hard work, and dedication to family and community will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Dearest Mieke and all of Bob’s special family. You are in our thoughts as we recall so many memorable times with Bob, how incredibly special he was to my parents, Dail and Mary Hutchinson, and to all of our family. He was so caring–professionally and personally– and I will always think of him and his red hot pepper socks. We send our love. Nancy & Herve
SUCH SAD NEWS!!! Life is so unfair! We were shocked then so saddened to hear of Bob’s passing! He was such a vibrant guy (very charismatic too)! This is such proof that life is SO FRAGILE!!!
We can’t believe that Bob has departed up into the clouds to look over all of you/us. A life like Bob’s is not going to evaporate anytime soon!
