George Roszell
1944 – 2024
Lyle George Roszell, beloved husband of Elsie Roszell of Foremost, passed away peacefully at the Bow Island Health Centre on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at the age of 80 years.
A private burial service will be held at the Foremost Cemetery prior to the funeral service.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Foremost Community Hall, 802 – 1 Avenue West, Foremost on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 1:30 P.M. Condolences may be forwarded by visiting our website at www.southlandfuneral.com.
Besides his loving wife Elsie, George is survived by his son Tyler (Cathy) Roszell of Lethbridge, son Waylon (Julie) Roszell of Strathmore and daughter Rebecca (Aaron) Brower of Aden. He is also survived by seven grandchildren Austin (Chayla), Blair, Justin, Josh, Morgan, Linsey and Adison, as well as one great grandchild Layton. George is survived by his brother Jack (Pat) Roszell; sister Debbie (Ken) Fonderick; sisters-in-law Doreen Butz and Terry Webster as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Lyle and Anne Roszell; infant brother Larry; sister Sandra Roszell; brothers and sisters-in-law Bob Webster, Joan Dongworth, Mac (Joyce) Webster, Norman Butz, Zena (Larry) Robinson, Rose (Frank) Lang, Albert Webster and Jim Webster.
George was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. His entire life was centered around his family and his community.
