Posted: October 3rd, 2024

CLINTON “CLINT” COLLIER 1971 – 2024 Clint passed away suddenly on September 29th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Clint was a devoted and loving husband to Shannon; beloved father to Brady & Kyra (Jessy); cherished son of Margaret Collier and Ralph (Wendy) Stolberg; brother to Ray (Mairi) Collier and sons Blake and Garret; sister Sarah (Devin) Letourneau and daughter Linnea; son in law to Pat Whimster; brother in law to Trish (Emily) Whimster and Donald Whimster; and uncle to Kaylene Neufeld & Kelcey (Ryan) Aleman and their children Waylon and Kylee. Nephew to Rose and Ken Vincent and Sue and Cheryl O’Donnell along with many beloved cousins and dear relatives. Clint treasured his dog, Kobe!
Born on July 22, 1971, Clint lived a life full of love, laughter, and kindness. He was a gentle man that would do anything to support those around him. He was a devoted husband and father; always placing family at the center of all that he did. Sports were a big part of Clint’s life, and he spent much time coaching and reffing throughout Southern Alberta. Clint was dedicated to coaching both of his children, Brady and Kyra, in all the sports they played. There are many banners hung in schools across the south in which he proudly supported athletes in championship games.
Clint was the Superintendent of Picture Butte Golf Club. He loved his career and the people that he worked side by side with every day. He had a passion for making the golf course a beautiful place for golfers. He often spoke of his grandfather, Pete Erais who guided him to follow in his career path while becoming a Superintendent of Golf. Clint was a talented golfer himself and could hit the ball longer than most (although not always straight). Shannon and Clint met one another at Picture Butte Golf course and that is where their love story began.
Clint’s unwavering dedication to family, friends, and community will be remembered by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Clint was predeceased by his grandparents Pete and Mary Erais; grandparent Rudy and Magda Stolberg; father-in-law Jack Whimster; sister-in-law Jennifer Whimster; uncles Terry and Jim O’Donnell.
