Celebrating Challis MacKenzie Gross With love and gratitude, we celebrate Challis, who has moved on to a place free of pain, she faced 16 years of illness with strength and grace, and through it all, her greatest joy was Ada – her beautiful, confident daughter, her reason for fighting, and her greatest legacy.
She was a beloved daughter to Kelley and Tim Gross, a devoted sister to Eastyn Gross, and was thrilled to soon call Samantha McFadden her sister-in-law. She shared a deep love with David, who cared for her and Ada. She adored her grandmothers, Anne Crighton and Jean Gross and is now reunited with Grandfathers Bob Crighton and George Gross. Her aunts, uncles, cousins and cherished friends will forever treasure the laughter and memories she gifted them.
Per Challis’ wishes, there will be no service. Instead, honour her by being kind and compassionate, if inclined, donate to NOKA Animal Rescue. Her love for animals was unsurpassable.
Challis, your light lives on in Ada and in all of us. Rest easy, beautiful soul, how lucky we all were to have loved you.
