LINDA MAE PERRY (NEE MUNDEE) 1940 ~ 2025 With deep love and sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Linda Perry, on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Linda was born on December 17, 1940, to Grace and Joseph Mundee. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Grace Mundee, her loving partner Barry Wilson, and her sister Carol.
Linda will be forever missed by her sons Scott (Stacie) Perry, Brenton (Alexandra) Perry; cherished grandchildren Krista Perry, Sean Perry, Julia (Josh) Martens, Jacob (Ashley Roen) Perry, Lilly Perry, Summer (Perry), Haley (Perry), Hudson Perry, Sydney Perry; sister Brenda Gray of Nanaimo, BC., as well as many extended family and friends.
Linda was a kind, generous, and forgiving soul whose warmth touched everyone who knew her. She had an artistic heart she loved painting and was known for her unique seaweed creations, which reflected her deep connection to the natural world. A true west coaster, she found joy and peace outdoors, especially on the beaches of Qualicum, where the sea and sky inspired both her art and her spirit.
She was also a devoted crossword puzzler, rarely stumped and always eager for the next challenge. Linda’s life was a quiet but powerful example of love, creativity, resilience, and appreciation for the beauty in simple things.
A private family service will be held to honour Linda’s life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre in Lethbridge Alberta, whose compassionate care provided comfort in her final days.
Though she has left this world, Linda’s spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved her – and in the wind, the waves, and the soft stillness of the forest paths she so often walked.
