VISOSKY, Kevin
Posted: July 1st, 2025 Mr. Kevin Dean Visosky September 4, 1962 – Lethbridge, Alberta June 26, 2025 – High River, Alberta Mr. Kevin Visosky of High River, Alberta passed away at the High River Hospital on June 26, 2025, at the age of 62 years.
Kevin was a wonderful son to Ed & Sharon Visosky, brother to Darren Visosky (Carole) and Kimberlee Huisman (Terry). He had many nieces and nephews; Jami Vander Torre (David) Jenna Visosky (Mackenzie Bergstrom) Jordan Visosky, Tori Sobkowicz, Clayton Salter (Kaylee), Evan Salter (Enya), Jaden Salter (Brooklyn), Taryn Huisman (Riley Hansen), and Great uncle to Payton Sobkowicz, Beckham Sobkowicz, Beau Bergstrom, Luca Salter.
Kevin was a man of rare character. When living in downtown Calgary, he was the kind of man who gave the shoes off his feet to someone in need, and walk home in the middle of winter wearing only socks. That’s just who he was – generous to his core.
He was extremely dedicated to his job as a bodily injury claims specialist for Allstate Insurance. He cared for each claim as if they were family and was often praised for his competence & volume of work produced.
To each of his nieces and nephews he felt like a father. Someone they could turn to for advice, for comfort, for wisdom. He always had the answers, always made time to listen, and always knew how to guide them forward.
He was an incredible cook, making sure at family celebrations that bellies were always full – too full. He told the best stories – some funny, some wild, all unforgettable. He was a man of flavor, of passion, and of deep curiosity.
He was a man of impact. A man of integrity. A man of generosity. A man of kindness. A man of wisdom. A man of mystery. A man who somehow figured out how to be a dad without ever being one. A man who touched countless lives – some we knew, and so many we never will. He is a man we don’t quite know how to live without. But most of all, he was a man of love. Kevin, you are so deeply loved. So deeply missed. Your legacy lives on in all of us – in our actions, our stories, our values, and in the quiet moments where we feel you near. We will look for you everywhere… because we know that’s where you’ll be.
There will be a Celebration of Kevin’s Life at a later date.

My condolences to the Visosky family with the passing of Kevin. I remember taking him under my wings and teaching to do that cooking when I was the Chef at Savilles. We had some good times and a few giggles back in the day.
