She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend.
Margot led her life with Kindness, love and affection. She had the innate ability to make everyone she encountered feel special.
She was born in West Vancouver, B.C. where she lived until moving to Winnipeg, MB in 1954 where she spent her youth and then left for Calgary, AB to begin her adult life. Having received education in Business Administration, among other positions Margot enjoyed a long career at the University of Lethbridge in Materials Management. She developed and maintained some of her greatest relationships working at U of L. Margot finished her working career as the Director of Purchasing for Alberta Health Services when she retired.
Margot always had a healthy obsession for fresh flowers, sewing and quilting, cooking, playing cards with her friends, puzzles, and time spent with her beloved family and community of friends. She loved to travel and never missed a Jays game.
Margot enjoyed many years with her Monday Morning prayer group as they continually searched for ways to volunteer and serve others. Above all, Margot’s love and devotion to her Savior, Jesus Christ is what sustained her through the hills and valleys of her life, always with the understanding that she would return to live with him again one day.
Margo’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses on 3B at the Chinook Regional Hospital for their care and compassion.
