Mom was born August 25, 1940 in Beechy, Saskatchewan to her parents Charles and Eva Mckean. Mom was the youngest of seven siblings. The family relocated from Beechy to Lethbridge in 1950 because her father Charles, got a job in construction.
Mom met and fell in love with our dad, Howard and had two sons Brian and Dale. Mom stayed at home until the boys were old enough not to burn the house down. Mom began her working career at Palliser Distilleries for several years, then moved to the Lethbridge Community College as a custodian and finally to the Lethbridge Correctional Centre, retiring as a corrections officer in January of 2002.
Mom loved to crochet and needle point, making many beautiful keepsakes for her family and friends. Mom retired when the grandchildren started showing up, spending countless hours supporting her family with their new arrivals. Mom was an amazingly loving grandma, mother, sister and friend.
Pat is survived by her sons Brian (Shelley) Norlin, Dale (Marliss) Norlin; grandchildren Cole, Tori, Ryan, Shane, Brielle, Brenna; sisters Shirley Telfer and Marion Wickerstrom; as well as Karen Norlin.
