1917 ~ YEAST ~ 2012

Mrs. Hazel Edith Yeast of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Mr. Frank Yeast, passed away on Monday, September 24th, 2012 at the age of 95 years. Hazel leaves to cherish her memory three children, Asa (Jean) Yeast, Bill Yeast, and Dallas Gibson, and their families; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Frank, Hazel was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Julia Halverson; eight brothers and seven sisters. Hazel was born and raised in Cabri, Saskatchewan. She married Frank on November 21st, 1939 in Medicine Hat and was a true wife and homemaker. She loved cleaning, cooking and gardening, especially her flowers. In 2004, Frank and Hazel celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Hazel’s hobbies mainly included reading and crocheting. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The Graveside Service will be held in SAAMIS PRAIRIE VIEW CEMETERY, 5160 Gershaw Drive SW, on Friday, September 28th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating.
