1950 ~ HAY ~ 2012

Petronella Hay of Medicine Hat, passed away on Thursday, November 22nd, 2012 at the age of 62 years. Petronella leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Benjamin Vriends and Ryan Hay; one daughter, Tiffany Hay; five grand children, Aiden Vriends, Ashton Vriends, Ceiran Hay, Gabriel Hay, and Garen Hay; two brothers; two sisters; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Josina Vriends. Petronella was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had a bubbly personality and enjoyed sharing a good joke and laughing with family and friends. Petronella enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. In her younger years, she enjoyed travelling. Petronella will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:25 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL on Wednesday, November 28th, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Bishop Dale Salmon officiating. Interment will follow in the Family Plot at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery.
