RIDGEWELL

Marion Ridgewell passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at the age of 84 years, beloved wife of Walter Ridgewell of Medicine Hat.

She also leaves to cherish her memory her children, Walter (Nancy) (their children, Christopher and Carly), Jim (Cheryl) (their children, Rhiannon and Dylan), Donna (Dave) Zora (their children, Alyssa and Ashley); one brother, John (Sylvia) Jack; her sister, May Service as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Mariah and William Jack; one brother, Bill; three sisters, Irene, Isabelle and Dorothy. Marion grew up in Calgary, in her youth working for many years in the Strand Theatre before moving to Medicine Hat to raise a family. Her family was her pride and joy. She loved kids, often providing sitting services for the children of friends and at the nursery at Hillcrest Church. One of her favourite pastimes was spending time with her grandchildren and their friends, spoiling them as necessary. Always considerate, she put of the needs of others before herself. She will be sadly missed by those who knew her and whose lives she touched. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend.
