Mrs. Catherine Elizabeth Schaufele of Bow Island, beloved wife of the late Mr. Reuben Schaufele, passed away on Wednesday, December 19th, 2012 at the age of 88 years. Catherine leaves to cherish her memory her children, Ron (Leila) Schaufele, Bonita Schaufele, and Fred (Shannon) Schaufele; her daughter-in-law, Marlene Weintrager; her son-in-law, Alan O’Hara; eight grandchildren, Beth (Joel) Nickel, Ronelle Schaufele (Nigel Boehm), Clark Schaufele, Laurence Schaufele, Alex Schaufele, Graham Schaufele, Richard Weintrager (Kim), and Carolyn Weintrager (Marc); seven great-grandchildren, Elijah, Katie and Ethan Nickel, Jakob and Ella Weintrager, and Maia and Forest Weintrager; one brother; six sisters; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Reuben, Catherine was predeceased by her mother, Emma; one son, Lawrence Schaufele; one daughter, Debbie O’Hara; and three sisters. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at the EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, 214 – 4th Avenue West, Bow Island, on Monday from 1:00 to 1:55 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, on Monday, December 24th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Roger Lobb officiating. Interment will follow in the Family Plot at Bow Island Cemetery.
