Mrs. Verna Clements of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 83 years. She will be sorely missed by her husband, Ross; son, Lawrence (Darlene) Rowe of Calgary; grandsons, Zane (Erika) and their children, Livia and Alma of Sweden and Curtis (Adrienne) of Vancouver; siblings, Donna, Marilyn (Art), and their families; together with Ross’s children, Bruce, Jim, Diane, Cindy and their families. Verna was predeceased by her son, Les; grandson, Shawn; her parents, John and Viola Crapley; brothers, Al, Gus and Howard; and sisters, Elaine and Pat. The Funeral Service will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Saturday, January 5th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. A Private Family Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in the Spring.
