1925 ~ LIDFORS ~ 2013

Mrs. Alfreda “Freda” Lidfors of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Mr. Howard Lidfors, passed away on Friday, January 25th, 2013 at the age of 88 years. Freda leaves to cherish her memory one son, Dennis (Annie) Lidfors of Calgary; two daughters, Karen (Richard) Carere of Medicine Hat and Cheryl Lidfors (Stan Stefanowski) of Calgary; four grandchildren, Tanys (Sam) Cabra of Hawaii, Kristin Carere (John Smeed) of Medicine Hat, Erik and Brent Lidfors both of Calgary; one step-grandson, Richard Carere Jr. of Wasa BC; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Freda was predeceased by her husband, Howard in 2005; Freda was the last of six children, born to Alfred and May Ellingson. The Funeral Service will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Thursday, January 31st, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Sid Nelson officiating. Interment will take place in the Family Plot at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery.
