Mrs. Mildred Russell, beloved wife of Mr. Robert Russell of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, April 27th, 2013 at the age of 81 years. Mildred also leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Debby Russell and her daughter, Taylor and Laurie (Darrell) Risk and their children, Kayla and Megan; one son, Brad (Katalin) Russell and her children, Kassandra and Patrick; three brothers, Cliff (Dot) Burkart, Harvey Burkart and Gayle (Linda) Burkart; one sister, Marlene Epneris; two sisters-in-law, Janet Burkart and Hilda Mueller; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mildred was predeceased by her parents, Alvin and Lydia Burkart; two brothers, Maurice Burkart and Gordon Burkart; and one brother-in-law, Gil Epneris. Mildred was born on June 27th, 1931 at Fox Valley, Saskatchewan. She married Robert Russell on October 5th, 1957 at Mirror, Alberta. Mildred enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, puttering around outside, playing cards and going to the casino. She will be fondly remembered and forever missed by all those who knew and loved her. We would like to thank all the staff at the Riverview Care Centre for their excellent care of our mother and grandmother and the ongoing care of our dad. I am so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. Millie was always so nice to us and treated us so well. IT was always a pleasure to run into her and catch up on everyone. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of one another.
