Hazel Price (Faas) 1917 – 2013

Hazel was born December 28, 1917 at Glasgow, Montana and went peacefully to be with the Lord on May 2, 2013 at the Rosefield Centre.

Hazel was loving, caring and compassionate and was always willing to help others. She loved the Lord with all her heart and set a wonderful example for her family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents James Slessor and mother Ida (Pederson), brothers Frank, Harry, Carl and Bob. She was also predeceased by a son Ken and husband Alex. She is survived by one sister Francis; 3 daughters, Betty Steer (Bill) of Red Deer, Diane Schlaht (Milton) of Peterborough, ON., and Dorothy Fehr (John) of Innisfail. She is also survived by a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The funeral service for Hazel will take place at the Heartland Funeral Services Chapel (4415 49th Street, Innisfail) on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 11:00am with Pastor Andrew Rilling officiating. Interment will be at the Hillside Cemetery in Medicine Hat on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 1:00pm. Donations can be sent to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, The Gideons or to the charity of your choice.
