THARES, COLIN KENNETH
Posted: May 10th, 2013Colin, beloved son of Ken and Joan Thares, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the age of 38 years.
He is also survived by two sisters; Jolaine Kunz (Jamie Archambeault) and her children Jared and Lauren of Lethbridge and Laurie (Dennis) Lemare of Acadia Valley. He was predeceased by his grandparents Gabriel and Lena Sehn and John and Katie Thares. Colin was born January 10, 1975 in Hanna and later moved to Medicine Hat where he graduated from McCoy High in 1992. He was an avid sportsman involved in hockey, baseball, basketball, snowboarding, golf and particularly bike riding. He received an RV Technician Certificate at S.A.I.T. and was working at Fraserway RV at the time of his passing. A single vehicle rollover took his life and that of Endo, his faithful dog and constant companion. A Memorial Gathering will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday, May 13, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Medicine Hat SPCA www.medhatsspca.ca or a charity of one’s choice.
