REUBEN FRANZ

1920 ~ 2013

Mr. Reuben Franz, beloved husband of the late Mrs. June Franz, passed away at the Riverview Care Centre on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at the age of 92 years.  His memory will be cherished by his three sons and their families:  Leroy (Ruby) Franz and their children, Paul (Sherri) Franz and their children, Lain and Garret Franz;  Tanya (Travis) Fike;  Brian (Donna) Franz and their children, Dakoda and Izahbella Franz;  Terry (Dale) Franz and their children, Lance and Bailey.  Reuben is also survived by other extended family members.  He was predeceased by special family friend, Mrs. Lydia Trekofski.  Reuben enjoyed gardening and he loved the land.  He was a farmer at heart.  This was evident as he was still helping out on the farm at 91 years of age!  Those wishing to pay their respects may do so starting one hour prior to the service which will be held at Temple Baptist Church, 606 – 7 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at 2:00 P.M.  Interment will follow at Prairie View Cemetery.  (Condolences may be expressed by visiting www. cooksouthland.com)    Honoured to serve the family is COOK SOUTHLAND Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4V4.  Telephone:  403-527-6455.
