Aged 81, a resident of Bow Island, Alberta, Canada. Devoted husband of the late Sally. John died suddenly in hospital after a short illness while visiting his three daughters and their families in England.
Dearly loved dad of Gillian, Kathleen and Julie Anne. Adored grandad of Claire, Michael, Christopher, Shaun, Gemma, Daniel and Kate and great grandad of Liam and Kayleigh. Loved father-in-law of Bev, Terry and Michael. Dear friend and former husband of Enid and sadly missed by sister-in-law Pat and niece Ethel, all of England.
Also much loved by his family in Canada: Ruth (Doc) Dyck, Nolan, Natalie and Cody of Bow Island, Rob (the late Sandra) Milne, Amanda, Ryan and Kevin of St. Alberta, Hal (Paula) Milne, Conrad and Amelia of Vancouver.
Funeral service at St. Paul’s Church in Jarrow, England on Tuesday, 21st May. A memorial service for his loving family and friends will take place in Bow Island on Thursday, July 25th, 2:00 pm, at the Golden Age Centre, when his daughters will bring his remains home for internment with the remains of his beloved late wife, Sally. All friends old and new will be extremely welcome.
