1946 ~ 2013
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mary Louise Lippert, beloved wife of Ken Lippert, announce her unexpected passing in Medicine Hat on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at the age of 66 years. Mary was the loving wife of Ken, mother of Don Garden (James, Robyn, Madison), Darcy and Tami Garden (Hali, Kristin, Justin, Ryley), Curtis Lippert, great-grandchild, Easton; sister of Ernie (Sharon) Reimer, Clarence Reimer, Jim (Charlene) Reimer, Bill (Kathy) Reimer, Harvey Reimer, Margaret (Patrick) Laevens, Beverley (Rusty) Mingo and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary worked in construction driving a packer and as a long haul semi-truck driver. She spent her hobby time making homemade wool blankets from scratch. Mary wasnt much of a cook, but she had so many other talents like making delicious breads and buns. She also really enjoyed Papas Pizza and making the dough and pizza. Our lovely Mary was such a funny girl, dressing up in great Halloween costumes and always ready to play a practical joke. Interior decorating was her passion…much to the dismay of her husband. We will miss her more than she would of ever realized. Rest in peace Mary Louise, you have now joined the rest of your family. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Monday, May 27, 2013, from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and again one hour prior to the service. The Funeral Service will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Bill Reimer officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
