Mr. Edward “Alan” Patey, beloved husband of Mrs. Jeanne Patey of Medicine Hat, passed away on Thursday, May 30th, 2013 at the age of 89 years. Alan also leaves to cherish his memory one son, Stephen (Kathy) Patey of Crossfield, Alberta; two daughters, Kirsten (Syd) McCurdy of Empress and Karen Patey (John) of Calgary; twelve grandchildren, one great grandchild; two sisters, Darlene (Bob) Jacobs and Bettylou (Mervin) Pinkerton, both of Calgary; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Alan was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Cora Patey; and one brother, George Patey. The Funeral Service will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Saturday, June 8th, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Keith Running officiating.
