It is with a heavy heart and sadness that we announce the passing of Teresa Dal Molin, on June 7, 2013, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her son Louis; daughter Gabriella (Chris) Sas and grandchildren, Gina and Tyler; her brothers-in-law, Aldo Dal Molin and Italo (Piera) Dal Molin; sister, Maria Rossetto, Antonietta (Carlo) De Zen; brother Gusieppe (Rossetta) Calstaldo, sister-in-law Mariucia Castaldo as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Teresa was predeceased by her husband Lino Dal Molin and her mother and father Amabile and Francesco Castaldo; brother Giovanni Castaldo and Antonio (Bruna) Castaldo, brother-in-law Guiseppe Rossetto. Teresa was born in Cornuda, Italy on April 15,1926 and worked in a factory in Italy. On May 8, 1952 she married Lino Dal Molin, they had their only son Louis in Italy in 1954 before deciding to come to Canada in 1956 in pursuit of new opportunities. Once in Canada, they had their second child and only daughter Gabriella in 1961. Teresa worked as a housewife and mother once in Canada, and for those who had the pleasure of knowing Teresa, she was the pillar of our family. Teresa was a very loving and accepting person, but also had a very powerful personality. Teresa was a very hard worker and her love for her family radiated through her passion for gardening and cooking. She also had an wonderful ability to create through sewing and knitting. In her later years her love for her grandchildren Gina and Tyler filled her with joy, as she wouldbeam if given the opportunity to spend time with them. Teresa was loved deeply and will be missed by all who were fortunate to have had the opportunity to know her. Teresa, go with God and rest in peace. Those who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Family and friends will gather for prayers in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church (238 2nd Ave N.E.) on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with celebrant Fr. Matthew Emmelkamp celebrant. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.     We are truly saddened by your mom’s passing. Zia Teresa was always so kind and considerate to us that we always welcomed seeing her at every opportunity.
    Her passing will not only leave a void in our lives, but in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Zia Teresa’s memory will always remain deep within our hearts.
    I have the fondest memories of growing up and spending such quality time with your family at all our functions, that I will treasure those forever.
