STOGRAN, PAGIE
September 15, 1930 – October 19, 2013
Passed away peacefully at Empress Gardens, Peterborough, Ontario, on Saturday October 19, 2013. Pagie Haroletta Stogran was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on September 30th, 1930 to Mabel and Harold Doane. She was the eldest sibling of two, predeceased by her sister Autumn Bowden (Aunt Autie). She is survived by her husband S.A. Stogy Stogran and four boys, Wade Stogran (Kathy), Pat Stogran (Trish), Sheldon Stogran and Kc Stogran (Debbie). Pagie will be remembered with love by her grandchildren: Syrus Stogran (Marina), Matthew Stogran, Melissa Stogran (Darren), Molly Stogran (Jon), Dylan Stogran, and Bernadette LeBoeuf (Jean-Benoit); and her great granddaughter Kalyn Stogran. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews.
Mom was an active member of her community in Richmond B.C., having taught Tai Chi for over 20 years and was an active participant until 2013. She also enjoyed her weekly Mah-jong games with her friends at the Richmond community centers. She participated in Friends4Seniors with her much loved Bull Terrier Paunchy until June of 2013 when she took ill. Mom had a tremendous amount of vim and vigour and loved to live life, always planning on what her next adventure would be. She had traveled in her later years to South America and Australia to visit her sons but always took the opportunity to venture off on her own to do her own exploring. She paid special attention to her boys, always interested in their careers and personal interests, whether it was their swimming, karate, pet crow or school projects; she was always involved and played her part. She especially instilled a love of learning and a deep appreciation of all living things.
We wish to thank the staff at Richmond General Hospital, and the nurses at Empress Gardens for their exceptional care and understanding.
We love you Mom and will miss you so very much. Thank you for everything.
Wade, Kathy, Pat, Trish, Sheldon, Kc, and Debbie.
