Catharine Dietrich of Daysland, formerly of Medicine Hat, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at the age of 98 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Wanda (John) Lazzari of Camrose; grandchildren Justin (Brandi) Lazzari of Edmond, Oklahoma, Jennifer (Trevor) Thomas of Grande Prairie and Jolene (Ben) Paulson of Camrose; and eight great-grandchildren Case, Jayden, Jackson, Emma, Beth, Taylor, Brayden and Blake.
Catharine was predeceased by her brothers Christ, Harry, and Matt Dietrich; sisters Barbara Hertz, Annie Sautner, Elizabeth Hauck, Elenore Ressler, Ida Ressler, and Rose Degenstein; and two great-grandsons Christian and Brodie.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2013 from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Larry Pederson as celebrant. Inurnment will take place in the Medicine Hat Hillside Cemetery at a later date.
