GLADYS SPRATT

1929 ~ 2013
It is with sadness that the family of Gladys Spratt announce her peaceful passing while at the Good Samaritan Nursing Care Facility on Monday, October 28, 2013, at the age of 84 years.  Gladys’ memory will be cherished by her daughter, Darlene (James) Gilham;  sons, Earl (Lindsay) Kidder, Brian Kidder, Kevin (Barb) Kidder and Brent Kidder;  10 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren.  She is also survived by three sisters, Alice Wilkinson, Jean Campbell and May Caron, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Gladys was predeceased by a sister, Vi LeBlanc;  brothers, Johnny Vladesav and Stan Smith;  first husband, Earl Kidder and second husband, Les Spratt.  A Celebration of Gladys’ life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, November 1, 2013, at 2:00 p.m.  A time of fellowship and refreshments will take place immediately following in the Cook Southland Reception Facility.    (Condolences may be expressed by visiting www.cooksouthland.com)  Memorial donations in Gladys’ name may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta, 401D – 3rd Street S.E., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 0G8.  Honoured to serve the family is Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13th Street S.W.
