1922 ~ PRICE ~ 2013
Posted: November 12th, 2013
Evelyn Price, of Medicine Hat, passed away on Thursday, November 7th, 2013 at the age of 91 years. The daughter of Ferdinand and Kathrine Kurpjuweit, she was raised on a farm south of Seven Persons. She was blessed with a life of simplicity and beauty which she created in her own way. Her memories were rich, riding a pony to a school house as a little girl or tending and appreciating the elegance of her gardens as grown woman. After World War II she married Al Price. Evelyn said goodbye to her loving husband when he passed away in 1983. Her golden years were spent with her friend and love Bill MacGregor. They enjoyed their lives together, travelling, playing cards (crib mostly), and arguing on any topic of her choosing. She will be forever loved and cherished by her children, Donna-Ray and Daryl, Raymond and Joan, Rick and Lucy, Garth and Cheryl and their children and grandchildren. Her family would like to thank Dr. Jeraj and all the professionals who cared for Evelyn when she needed them most. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes you tell someone that You Love Them. There will be a private graveside service at Hillside Cemetery in the spring of 2014. Condolences may be sent through www.saamis.com or www.gonebutnotforgotten.ca or to condolences@saamis.com subject heading Evelyn Price. Funeral arrangements entrusted to SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL AND CREMATORIUM, “The Chapel in the Park”, locally owned and directed.
